Offense
-OL really struggled on the 1st drive, Cowboys were bailed out on tough foul.
-Dak was terrific all game long, great pass to Ferguson for the TD, really liked him getting a few 1st downs with his legs. Offense never punted in his drives.
-Nice to see a lot of chunk plays for the offense in the passing game.
-Lamb is a legitimate #1 receiver, was terrific all game long and will be getting a huge extension soon.
-Cooks is slowly making an impact, had a nice 4th down catch and a long TD.
-When they ran a few outside runs, it looked like the Pollard of old. Saw a nice block from Schoon on a long 1st down run.
-Liked the aggressiveness in the red zone, although it led to 1 interception.
-Cannot remember 1 penalty on offense
Defense
-Once again the defense started slowly giving up a long drive that led to a FG. Thought they were bailed out with a hold by Lewis. Start of the 2nd half, they allowed the Rams to go on a long drive that led to a TD.
-Bland another pick 6, this guy is a lot like Diggs, who the team needs to pay down the line. Easy interception, but he still made it.
-Parsons gave the Rams fits rushing over the center, which led to a sack, almost 2. Sam Williams has to do a better job with these pre-snap penalties, another penalty that extended a drive. DLaw/Osa continue to have strong seasons.
-Bell continues to flash against the run, he is our best linebacker right now, this is really incredible considering he was playing safety in camp.
-Lewis is our secondary weak link, he is giving up too many easy passes over the middle.
-Thought the run defense was very hot/cold, the score forced the Rams to pass more.
Special Teams
-Bones is one of the best ST coaches in this league. We didn’t see punt blocks/returns in years since he was hired. Cowboys used to be one of the worst on special teams now they are elite. Nice block by Sam Williams, great returns by Turpin.
-We have found ourselves a great kicker, 58 yarder was huge!
Real good win, the team leaves very confident heading into a showdown with the Eagles coming up!
