This Offense Has Way More In The Tank

There are no words for how this defense played, but the offense has a lot to clean up. They left a lot on the field and I can’t even imagine what it will look like if they reach their potential along with the defense.

– Let’s start with Dak. Compared to last year he only had 3 games with a worse QBR, so statistically this was a pretty bad game for him (54% comp, 146yds, 72 QBR…). I’m not sure how to feel about that. The weather likely had an impact (judging from Rush’s lone throw). There were a couple drops, but compared to Daniel Jones and Mahomes, Dak can’t really complain about that. Still TBD if this new offense has had a positive impact on him.

– Biadasz struggled a lot today, but that interior D Line is rare. I expect him to clean it up. I’m starting to wonder if we will extend him or not. That may be our #1 need going into 2024…

– Chuma did well, but he’s not Tyler Smith. When we get Tyler this run game is gonna take another step forward.

– The receivers looked annoyed all game because they were owning those CBs, but I’m guessing the rain and the early lead dictated more on the run game. In closer games and better conditions I expect them to shine

– TEs looked bad today. Ferg with two drops and Hendy with the easy TD drop. We might end up with Schoonmaker as the #1 TE by end of season after all. TE group needs to clean it up
