If we were 3-0 this would have been a game we could have afforded or at least been able to lose without the impact of falling to .500 with the realistic possibility of falling below .500 heading to SF.
And that’s what makes this game and situation a greater or immediate dire necessity. If we lose this game then the possibility of falling to 2-3 looms heading to SF becoming almost an urgent game.
If you lose 3 in a row then where does it stop. Not to mention what could be the impact and fallout from such an unraveling of the season.
I understand it seems silly to have a must win type scenario this early but for the sake of saving face at least for another week this game because of last weeks upset has become a much greater sense of urgency to stay on track for the goals set forth this season.
