Leupke: Dude won’t clear waivers now, so you better not cut him. Too versatile as a receiver, blocker, and runner. He makes my 53. Malik Davis played well, but we have a better Malik Davis in Dowdle.
Grier: He won’t make the 53 with Lance coming in, but I think maybe he just played himself onto somebodies team. When allowed to use his legs, the guy plays different. Heck, I liked him better than I like Rush tonight. Good for him
Schoonmaker: cemented his #2 TE role tonight. Guy has some hands and good instincts and blocks well. He and Ferg are gonna sharpen each other.
Hoffman: If he makes the 53 I will send out a petition for each of you to sign. The guy is awful, and he doesn’t even need to sniff the practice squad. I’ve never seen a lineman fly BACKWARDS in the air on a 4th and 1. More shameful than a butt fumble…
Bass: This guy got better EVERY. SINGLE. GAME. He needs a weight room, but he set a beautiful 2nd level block tonight, and played very solid in the 2nd half. I like Richards, Bass, Farniok, Ball, and Tyler-Prileau as my 2nd line.
Brooks: He’s done enough. As much as Simi but with a higher ceiling. He’s on this team IMO, and Simi just…I don’t see it.
Harper: Harper >> Cox and it isn’t even close. He’s got great instincts and had that outstanding 4th down stop. He’s not Overshown but he’s trustworthy
Secondary: This is where something unjust will happen. Between Juanyeh Thomas, Bell, Mukuamu, Eric Scott, K Joseph, and Nashon Wright, someone is getting cut, and it’s going to hurt. Eric Scott improved every game, and ended this game with a BEAUTIFUL pass breakup on 4th. Mukuamu made a big stop late. Juanyeh almost got a pick and had a great PBU…I feel bad for this staff. Keeping Lance makes this even harder
Aubrey: This is controversial, but I like Aubrey. I think over time his confidence will grow. I LOVED that he was allowed to redeem himself and try another 59 yarder. I wanted them to let him do it again at the end instead of kneeling but oh well. He’s on my 53
