I would like to see Luepke get more involved

I first want to say that the Cowboys have been WONDERFUL this season so far. I have very few critiques about this team so far. When you start a season with a 70-10 aggregate score for the first two games in the NFL, that’s INCREDIBLE! Also, it’s delightful being 2-0. I love the fact that we look as dominant as we have been. Our coaches and players are doing very well so far.

That being said, there is one thing that I would like to see. I would like to see Luepke get more involved. I think getting Luepke involved in the short yardage game can help us turn some of those field goals into touchdowns. We have a FB for a reason. Don’t just use him for blocking. Use him for the FB dive at the one or two yard line. I would like to see how he can handle this in the NFL.

That said, absolutely brilliant performance by the Cowboys these first two games. We don’t really have any glaring weaknesses, as far as I can tell. We just have a few areas that could use a bit of tightening up. It’s early in the season, and I trust our coaches. I just thought I’d share my thought on using Vaughn.
