The Offensive Line reserves are the worst in history. Absolutely panic mode if it comes to having one of those guys replace a starter IMO. It would be taking a step up with the starter and 3 or 4 back with whoever comes in as a backup. Total derailment.
2. Deuce Vaughn – love this kid. He’s our "Stealth" attacker. Can’t see him coming through the hole. He’s got a very low Radar signature. The only thing that needs to happen is that he needs to be used like Darren Sproles. Anyone thinking he is a #2…STOP. He’s a weapon and needs to be selectively used at all the right times.
3. Tight Ends — I think we are overall OK here even if the #2 pick doesn’t become the stud we want. Seems like a lot of guys there that are ok.
4. Gonna give Jaylen Tolbert a chance. I kind of liked his spirit and the growth. Let’s see.
5. Jaylen Brooks – with all the hype in camp, it looked like he was slow reaction, wasn’t ready for the speed. Should cool that march.
6. Defense has a lot of capital. Might not have looked great after the 3rd quarter but there were guys that would never make the team. Still saw some of the ball a little bit.
Overall, I personally have to say more GOOD than BAD. Was a silly pre-season game. My feeling is, we need to get ONE upgrade at offensive line who can play multiple and keep an eye on ALL kickers throughout the league just in case.
Happy Sat/Sun everyone. Football is back….
