The Dallas Cowboys have quite the storied history. I thought it would be fun to look at some facts about our favorite team’s history and it’s record by decade:

    • 1970s: 105-37 (.739)
    • 1980s: 79-73 (.519)
    • 1990s: 101-59 (.631)
    • 2000-09: 82-78 (.512)
    • 2010-19: 86-74 (.537)
    • 2020-21: (so far) 18-15 (.545)
  • Cowboys playoff record by decade:
    • 1960s: 1-4
    • 1970s: 14-7
    • 1980s: 5-5
    • 1990s: 12-5
    • 2000-09: 1-4
    • 2010-19: 2-4
    • 2020-21: 0-1

Home Playoff wins: 26

Road Playoff Wins: 9 (Have not had one in 29 years!)

  • Cowboys road playoff wins in 60s: 0
  • Cowboys road playoff wins in the 70s: 6
  • Cowboys road playoff wins in the 80s: 1
  • Cowboys road playoff wins in the 90s: 2
  • Cowboys road playoff wins since 2000: 0
  • Last playoff road win- Jan 19,1993 in the NFC championship game vs SF!

Was fun looking at how the team has done over the years. Puts the current playoff drought in perspective.
